Kim
and WInter's 4Th of July Cake
Kims family loves cake! Especially this
one, because it has our two of her favorite kinds of berries on
it. Kim likes chocolate cake and Winter loves white cake. This cake
is great, not only will it satisfy two individuals, but it is also
GREAT for the 4th of July because when you are done, it will look
like the American Flag.
1
Box White Cake Mix
1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix
2 Large Cool Whips
1 large Jar Strawberry Jam (or your favorite flavor)
2 box/basket of Strawberries
1 box/basket of Blueberries
Make
the cakes as directed on the box. Make sure you use the rectangle
baking tins. Once the cakes are cooled and make sure they
are very cool, almost cold, because the whipped cream will melt
if the cake is warm.
Place
the chocolate cake on a large cookie sheet. Then with a bread knife
take the Strawberry jam and smear it all over the top of the Chocolate
Cake. You should have a very thin layer of Jam.
Next
place the White Cake on top of the Chocolate Cake and Jam. Push
it firmly down but not hard enough that is smashes the cake.
Then
you spread the whipped cream all over the cake. Try to make it as
smooth as possible. Then in the top corner make a small square with
the blue berries (3-4 inches X 3-4 inches)
Then
take the Strawberries and cut them in halves. Place the halved Strawberries
on the rest of the cake making stripes.
Tada!
You have the American flag on your cake. Place the cake in the fridge
until you are ready to eat it or the whipped cream will melt and
get really runny!

tools are high quality and very durable and most definitely
not a play set; they are real cooking utensils for little
