cup of water
1-2 teaspoons food coloring (choose your favorite color)
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1/2 cup salt
2 tablespoons oil
1 cup of flour
1.
Measure and place all ingredients, except flour, in a medium saucepan.
Turn heat on low.

Slowly stir in flour with a spoon or a whisk. Then, keep stirring
stirring with a spoon.
3.
As mixture starts to heat up or become dry remove from heat.
4.
Keep stirring until mixture starts to look dry. When cool enough
to touch, pinch a piece between your fingers. If it is not sticky
then it's done.
5.
Dump onto a counter. Knead (smash around with your hands) and
let the play clay totally cool.
6.
Store in a plastic bag or plastic container.
Have
